We introduce HAMANAKODENSO’s products adopted by automobile manufacturers worldwide, including DCVs (EVAP Purge Control Valves), boasting the world’s top share by business domain.

Our first product, horn, which has a history of more than 70 years since our founding, is now regarded as one of the main products of HAMANAKODENSO.
A car horn is an acoustic device used as an alarm to notify a failure or danger to others. Our horn is not only incorporated in a car as a genuine part, but is also offered as an aftermarket part to be exchanged with a genuine part for its higher-quality sound. Two types are available: a trumpet-shaped type with a soft and sophisticated sound, and a flat type with a sharp and dynamic sound.

The EVAP (evaporative emission control system) business domain provides DCVs that boast the world’s top share.
While EVAP regulations are tightened worldwide to help preserve the global environment, we provide a wide array of products installed on vehicles to check for EVAP leakage or inhibit the generation of gasoline vapors. These products are required to deliver high performance in any environment.

The Hydraulic control business domain provides hydraulic solenoids that control the vehicle’s performance to move, turn and stop, coils for hydraulic control units, and many other products.
We offer solenoids and coils that control transmission shifting or braking by controlling the hydraulic pressure of an automatic transmission (AT) or anti-lock brake system (ABS). To enhance a vehicle’s basic performance to move, turn and stop, we continually address product improvements jointly with our customers.

The Valve system business domain provides actuators including solenoids for intake/exhaust valve control.
We offer various actuators, such as solenoids installed on vehicles, to control the VCT system’s variable valves that control the opening and closing timing of the intake/exhaust valves in the engine combustion chamber according to the driving status. These products need to deliver excellent performance even under the extremely high-temperature environment inside the engine.

The Sensor business domain detects the present and controls the future of vehicles.
We offer many different sensors that perform controlling and correction functions in various situations, including checking engine coolant temperature or intake air temperature, and operational detection of the accelerator pedal or electronic throttles. As the vehicle’s electronic control system becomes increasingly sophisticated, our products are needed in a wider array of applications.

The Contract manufacturing business domain responds to customers’ expectations with our long-developed production technologies.
